The three rules behind it

Breed never enters the calculation. Two dogs of one breed can be six centimetres apart at the neck. You can tell us the breed; it is recorded and shown back to you, and that is all it does.
Outside the range means a quote, not the nearest size. If your measurement falls outside every band we stock, the tool routes you to a made-to-measure enquiry.
A cat only gets a breakaway collar. No lead, no harness, nothing that carries load — and none of our cat pieces has a lead ring in the first place.

What the answer is not

A width band is a starting point, not a promise about your individual dog. Check the fit on the animal, check the hardware before every walk, and replace anything that is cracking or deforming.
